I cannot view video items

Filed under: Uncategorized — Metacafe Support @ 7:09 pm

This problem is commonly the result of incompatibility of your Windows Media Player codecs.

There are two methods to resolve this issue, it is recommended doing both:

  • Updating your Windows Media Player:
    • Open your Windows Media Player.
    • Right-click on the title bar.
    • Go to “Help”.
    • Select “Check for Updates”.
  • Install a codec package: (Underneath is an example for K-lite codec pack)

If your problem persists, uninstalling and reinstalling your Windows Media Player should solve this problem. In addition, verify that Windows Media Player is your default media player.

If your problem still persists, scan your computer for viruses, adware, malware, spyware and other harmful programs that might be corrupting your computer.
