Welcome to the Help Center page regarding the Metacafe Messaging Center (or in short – MMC)!

To access the MMC, all you need to do is sign-in to Metacafe as you usually do and then click on the little envelope icon next to your nickname at the top right part of the window, as can be seen in the picture below.

Now that we’re inside, let’s look at the easy-to-use interface in the MMC.

We can seperate the MMC general window into three major sections:

The left part of the screen, where you can choose to:

• Compose – Write a new message. More information about that in the bottom of this page.
• Inbox – Check your incoming messages.
• Sent – Review your sent messages.
• Contacts – A list of your current contacts and the actions you can perform on each (Remove, send a message, view profile).

The top right part of the screen, where you can view the information of either your incoming messages if you chose the “Inbox” option or your sent items if you chose the “Sent” option.

The bottom right part of the screen, where you can view the content of the messages. To view a certain message, simply click on it.

How do I write a new message?

First, as said before, click on the compose icon. Once done, a new window will appear:

There are a few input lines that we should take note of:

• To: Please input the Nickname of the user you wish to send the message to. MMC will also automatically try to complete the names of any of your contacts!
• Subject: Any text you wish to show on the subject line.
• Insert Video: Please note that currently you can attach only videos you submitted. To get a look at the video before actually sending the message, simply click on the “Preview” option.

Once done, please click on the send icon to set your message free!
