Once you’ve downloaded the Metacafe downloader to your computer, simply run it. The Metacafe downloader will download and install the Metacafe application on your computer.

Note that you need to be connected to the internet when running the Metacafe downloader.

When running the Metacafe downloader it will begin downloading the Metacafe desktop application:

After the download is complete, an installation wizard will open:

Clicking “Next >” will bring up the license agreement:

After clicking ‘I Agree’, select the directory in which you would like Metacafe to be installed:

The Metacafe application will be installed to the directory you selected:

Congratulations! You have successfully installed Metacafe on your computer:

When running the Metacafe application for the first time after installing, the following window will appear, if this is not the first time Metacafe has been installed on your computer:

Metacafe saves a list of the items you have already downloaded. By selecting ‘Yes’ Metacafe will “remember” which items you have already received and will not download them. By selecting ‘No’ Metacafe will regard you as a brand new user, making all items available for download.
